about John Giammatteo started PHOTOGRAPHS in 1982 and is the principle photographer and owner. Our clients include advertising agencies, graphic designers, and publishers. In addition, we work directly with industry, government agencies and artists. We “went digital” over twelve years ago, but we still maintain and use our traditional “wet process” for those times when it has to be on film. Our background in pre-press guarantees that you can rely on our consistently high quality work. At PHOTOGRAPHS, we are UPDIG compliant. professional John is General member of American Society of Media Photographers, a past president of the Connecticut Chapter, and served on the national Board of Directors from 2002 to 2008. During his tenure, John served on the Executive Board as Secretary and as Treasurer of the ASMP Foundation. John is a member of the Society for Photographic Education and the Connecticut Art Directors Club. Since 2003, John has been a Visiting Instructor in Art at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
